Artist Statement
If I am asked to select a single form of making art, I would say my first love is to draw. However, my love of making art goes beyond that. I love to draw, paint, make prints, and “put together stuff.” My mediums range from alcohol inks to collage, to oil paint and watercolor, to pen and inks, as well as to pastels, charcoal, and graphite, and so on. I am interested in landscape and creatures, architectural work and figures, and any imagery real or imagined. I can identify a mythical creature in almost anything from floor tile to other artists’ images. I love this about art and making art, and it is my desire to share all these ideas and notions with others as much and as often as possible.
